Alternative EnergyThe most commonly used source of energy used today is created from burning fossil fuels which cause troublesome effects to our environment. Alternative energy sources such as solar, wind and hydroelectric power permits our world to operate as people and businesses are accustomed to, while saving the precious earth and the atmosphere which surrounds us. In a single year, the sun produces more than 35,000 times the amount of energy that is used by man. A business that uses the representation of this alternative energy source as a model of their business cards shows the desire to conserve resources while finding productive measures to not only meet, but to exceed goals. An indirect source of solar energy, wind is one of our earliest energy resources that was put to an end after World War II until the energy crisis in the 1970's sparked renewed interest in wind technology as a clean, competitive, and renewable energy source. A business that uses sources of wind energy as an icon on business cards presents an interest to bring back ideas that were successful in the past to make them even better ideas and solutions today. |
